Above the Falls Challenge Course (AFCC) is southwestern Ontario’s newest outdoor experiential adventure.  Fun, challenging & innovative activities like climbing, balancing, and tight rope walking provide an exciting way to develop effective teamwork, build relationships, and  sharpen problem-solving skills.

Located just inside the Falls Reserve Conservation Area in Benmiller, on land leased from the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority,  Above the Falls Challenge Course is a not-for-profit, community-supported organization.  Developed by Huron County’s Youth Engagement Co-ordinator, Rob Bundy, with the support of the Huron Business Development Corporation, the County of Huron and OMAFRA’s Rural Economic Development funding, this project was designed to engage local youth, create jobs, develop a non-competitive business and be financially and environmentally sustainable.  As such, the course itself, as with all the buildings on-site, has been installed using only environmentally-sustainable construction techniques.
